When I compose, I seek to evoke emotion while at the same time maintaining accessibility.
I favor clear forms over pre-compositional plans, and sound over notation.
My music is eclectic and flows freely from one style to another calling to mind various roots and locales.
I blend Latin American rhythms with classical forms; that emerge in a logical, yet unpredictable manner.
My music is intense and strives for clarity while relying
on rhythm for continuity.
In my work, form is always well defined in terms of
each section's thematic content and character depiction,
while energy is driven by pulsed
rhythms and syncopation.
